Ambassadors for Hope provides funds to help caregivers meet emergency needs for children with a recently incarcerated parent. We also supply age-appropriate children's books that address the challenges of having an incarcerated parent and suggest ways that children can meet those challenges. In addition, we give the children we serve teddy bears that contain a recorded message from the incarcerated parent as well as writing materials to help children maintain contact with an incarcerated parent when appropriate.
